Family and Consumer Sciences {Family and Consumer Sciences} The Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) program focuses on the development of management skills needed throughout the life span. The program is committed to a unique focus between work and family, empowering students to fulfill individual, family, community, and work role to achieve balance in the interaction among these roles in a diverse global society.
Middle school, high school and adult education courses are offered. The program brochure offers details about the program and a schedule planner for students.

FACS students have leadership opportunities through the Virginia FCCLA Association, a state affiliate of the national organization of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc.
Volunteers are needed to servie on the Family and Consumer Sciences Advisory Committee.
