    LIFESKILLS PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
    TRANSPORTATION  LEVELS: 200 and 250

    Note to teachers: This lifeskills unit has been combined for levels 200 and 250, which represent the same speaking levels but different reading and writing levels. When applicable, a distinction is made as to level appropriateness.

    TRANSPORTATION UNIT GOAL
    Students will demonstrate their ability to use level appropriate language skills to communicate transportation needs and navigate the transportation system.

    TRANSPORTATION LIFESKILLS PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (Summary):
    1. Set class learning goals.
    2. Identify means of transportation.
    3. Inquire about public transportation.
    4. Locate cities and streets on a map.
    5. Use the internet to get directions and traffic information.
    6. Ask for, give, and follow directions.
    7. Explain traffic rules and signs, including pedestrian and cyclist safety.
