In September we visit our outdoor classroom, Tuckahoe's Parkside.

We drew how our outdoor classroom was like and unlike our inside classroom.
Both have signs. Our outside classroom has a dry streambed you won't find inside!

Then we took a walk on Tuckahoe Park's Nature Trail to find things a habitat needs. Like the acorns for food, and tree for shelter and a place to build a nest to raise young. We wrote down the ones we found on our clipboard. We already know so much about habitats but we'll learn even more as we explore our outdoor classroom.
