Wakefield High School athletes demonstrate sportsmanship, hard work, and love of the game with a 2.0 and above GPA. The "gaming spirit" is not complete with the athletes alone, but with the help of support. The support of teams and athletes come from coaches and teammates, Wakefield staff and teachers, parents, and other Wakefield students. Teams and athletes earn an immense amount of support especially from "Super Fans," whether or not they win.

The most rewarding gift an athlete can receive is not popularity, but support and maybe a thoughtful "congratulations" for effort, not statistics.
