The Swim and Dive teams are open to all students with swimming or diving experience, or who are interested in learning competitive swimming or diving.  Swimmers swim one or more of four strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle).  There are six dual meets, a relay carnival, and the opportunity to go on to district, regional and state competition.  Practices are held after each school day during the training season (November to February) at the Yorktown pool, adjoining the school.  Students must provide their own swim suits.  Parents officiate at swim meets, regardless of officiating experience.  

YHS Swim and Dive Site
