  • National Bike to School Day

The Nottingham PE team invites you to participate in National Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 6th. Our bike to school event takes place in the morning with students biking and scootering to school. If students cannot bike or scooter, they are encouraged to walk instead! Upon arrival, students receive biker/walker tokens to add to their collection and are given a special walk/bike sticker. At the end of morning arrival, those participants that have a specially marked sticker will receive a prize. Students that ride a bike or scooter to school must wear a helmet to receive a prize. Prizes include helmets, pedometers, bike computers, bike locks, Klean Kanteens and other fun bike and walk stuff! Accommodations are made for our early extended-day arrivals and students that do not live in an area with a safe route to school are encouraged to partner with other students in the community to travel together along a safe route that morning.

  • Sign up for the Nottingham Trip Tracker

Trip Tracker is a Nottingham PTA sponsored program that engages students, parents, school teachers and staff by encouraging them to walk, bike, bus or carpool to school. In doing so Trip Tracker helps decrease traffic around Nottingham, lowers emissions, promotes wellness and creates a safer walking environment.  Knights then earn Tracker Bucks by keeping track of their trips and reporting them to Nottingham. Tracker Bucks are delivered to school monthly and can be spent at local businesses!
