  • Back to School Night
    This year's Back to School Night is Tuesday, September 23rd. Below is the schedule. If your child has a Career Center class, please go to the library during that period. Generals period (period 8 on your child's schedule) will not meet.
    Plan to arrive early, with enough time to locate a parking space. Parking is available in the parking deck over I-66, alongside the stadium, around the Ed Center and at Quincy Park, as well as in designated areas throughout the neighborhood.

  • Senior Portraits
    Attention seniors and their families: In order to be pictured in the senior section of the yearbook, seniors must have a senior portrait taken by Victor O'Neill Studios. The last opportunities to get these portraits taken will be October 7th and 8th. No purchase is required.
    If your child has not yet had their senior portrait taken, you should receive an appointment card in the mail by September 24th. If you do not receive an appointment card, please check in with the main office to determine your appointment time or to schedule a new appointment.

  • Washington-Lee Wins VHSL Sportsmanship Award
    W-L has been awarded the prestigious Claudia Dodson VHSL Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award presented by Wells Fargo. This award recognizes member schools that have established policies and procedures that make sportsmanship a priority and an expectation within the school and school community. Congratulations to all our student athletes, student fans, coaches, and activities office staff!

  • APS ParentVue
    Families can now access student schedules, class attendance, grades, and report cards through ParentVue and the Family Access Center. You can reach the Family Access Center through W-L's Site Shortcuts, the W-L Parents tab, or the APS website Parents tab. Click here to link to a brief instruction guide on some of ParentVue's functions.
    Information about ParentVue was mailed home in August. To create an account and log into ParentVUE, you need a valid email address and the Activation Code provided in the letter that was sent to you. Then follow the steps in the letter to register and set up your password. If you did not receive a letter or misplaced your Activation Code, you can email W-L's registrar at debbie.germosen@apsva.us.
