    The results for the 2016 Yorktown Science Fair should be tabulated and posted online by the end of the day on Monday.

  • The Yorktown Theatre Arts department will present an encore performance of The Girls Who Glow on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Yorktown Auditorium. Admission is free. The event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters Arlington and 

    This is the last performance before Saturday's Virginia High School League competition of this stage adaptation of YHS alumna Ginny Mohler’s screenplay about the Radium Girls – teenage factory workers who were slowly poisoned while painting glow-in-the dark watches in the 1920’s. Ms. Mohler is a 2011 graduate of the NYS Tisch School of the Arts, and received the 2013 NYU-Alfred P. Sloan feature film production grant for her Radium Girls screenplay.

    Ms. Mohler will be available for a Q&A with Ms. Cadby following the performance.

    The latest information from Information Services estimates that the bandwidth upgrade, which was delayed, will be completed in Spring 2016.
