  • Read Across America Day!

Stratford students celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss by listening to The Cat in the Hat read by the Cat in the Hat himself (who looks suspiciously like our art teacher, Ms. Dawn)!

  • Edible Book Contest Winners!

This weekend, Stratford students won Best Group Entry in the Edible Book contest sponsored by the Arlington Public Library. They created an edible representation of this year's Caldecott-winning book, Locomotive by Brian Floca. Guided by art teacher, Dawn Kyser, the students created this beautiful "book." Librarians from Cherrydale Library will visit Stratford to give the students their prizes!
