Meet the Communications Staff
Lisa Hill began her teaching career in 1987 as a Special Ed and Adaptive Physical Education teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1993, she moved to Virginia and continued her career with Arlington Public Schools at the Jackson School, now the Stratford Program housed at HB Woodlawn. She has spent her time at Stratford teaching, coaching Special Olympics, overseeing the summer school program and student government and serving as the contact mentor for other mentors and new teachers. In the summer of 2005, Lisa took time off from Stratford and was abroad in Africa teaching English and working at T.E.A.R.S, a non-profit animal shelter. She is an avid traveler, loves sports and has recently picked up surfing. She received her B.S. in Special Education from the University of West Georgia and her M.Ed. from George Mason University.
Mr. Lewis has been teaching at Patrick Henry since 2010. He started out as a third grade teacher but last year switched to his first love, Special Education! This is his second year teaching the 3-5 Communications class. Mr. Lewis received a double major in Elementary and Special Education from Salve Regina University in Newport Rhode Island. Mr. Lewis is an avid baseball fan and enjoys watching his hometown team the Cleveland Indians and the Washington Nationals. In his spare time, Mr. Lewis loves reading mysteries and spending time with his wife and their chocolate lab Heath. Mr. Lewis is looking forward to another exciting year at Patrick Henry! Go Bulldogs!
Ms. Elaine Fargo
Mr. Stewart was born and raised in Washington DC. He is a big sports fan, especially of the Washington Redskins.
He loves music and sings with his own band, “Stop Thief!”.
