The Shirofugen Cherry Tree is located in the center of the courtyard. It has red and green leaves, so it is a deciduous tree. Its leaves are smooth and soft. The short brown trunk is rough and bumpy. It reaches to about three and a half meters tall. It blooms in the spring and lasts until fall.
