The Wakefield Boosters are made up of parents, staff and alumni who work to support the extra-curricular activities of our Wakefield students. We raise funds that support student extra-curricular activities and build school spirit. These are the Wakefield activities we support:
Student Government Association,
After-school Student Groups and Clubs
Boosters organize the staffing of all concession stands at home football and basketball games, which can be sponsored by a student team or group as a fundraising option for the group. When your child’s group is working the concession stand, please volunteer your time. They need parents and students to make the concession stand a success! To volunteer or ask questions about the concession stands, please contact Beth Connors.
Boosters also sells spirit wear to students, staff, parents and all others happy to promote the Wakefield Warriors. We set up at most major events at Wakefield (including Back to School Night on September 30, 2015) and at most home football and basketball games. Occasionally we also set up sales during lunch periods. These sales will be advertised through the PTA/Booster listserv. If you have questions about or want to purchase spirit wear, please contact Susan DuBois.
Volunteering with Boosters is a fun way to have a positive impact at Wakefield, and get to know the students. Please consider helping out at a game or with one of our activities. Upcoming volunteer opportunities include:
Help with our Holiday Shop, December 14-18th (details forthcoming);
Sign up to work at the Concession Stand for an upcoming game;
Help shop for and manage inventory;
Help us spread the word and raise school spirit!
If you would like to join the our listserv, email Wakefield_Booster_PTAemail@example.com and request to join. In the body of your email, share with us your connection to Wakefield. This same listserv is used for communications with both Boosters and the PTSA.
