Emergency Preparedness in APS Schools Featured on Snapshots
In this episode of Snapshots, Superintendent Dr. Pat Murphy is joined by Arlington Police Chief Doug Scott and Fire Chief James Schwartz along with School Board Chair Abby Raphael and Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services Meg Tuccillo to talk about emergency preparedness and the relationship between APS and Arlington’s police and fire departments.
“APS Snapshots” is a three-to-five minute weekly cable program highlighting student, teacher or school achievements, or featuring important, up-to-date information on a variety of topics.
You can see “APS Snapshots” on Comcast Cable Channel 70 and Verizon FiOS Channel 41. Snapshots airs at the following times: Mondays at 10:30 p.m.; Tuesdays at 7 and 10:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m.; Thursdays at 7 and 10:30 p.m. (after School Board Meetings); Fridays at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m.; and Saturdays at 2 p.m. Snapshots may also run at additional times as scheduling allows. The program is also available on the Web at www.apsva.us/snapshots.
