Things We Wish We'd Known About the College Search Process

Things We Wish We'd Known About the College Search Process.
Thu, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the Yorktown PTA and Family Network.
This presentation is about the college admission process for all high school families but particularly for 9th and 10th  grade families who may be just starting to pay attention to the logistics of college applications. What matters most in admission? How do you target which schools to apply to? What is the best way to get started? This is an ideal opportunity for families of underclassmen to begin thinking about and planning for the college search process before it becomes overwhelming. Students are encouraged to attend. Presenter Anne Steen is a former APS parent and Associate Director, Graduate Career Development Center, Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University. Contact Yorktown PTA representative Emily Nack, emilynack@aol.com for more information.
Location: Yorktown High School Cafeteria.
