Little Known Secrets of Paying for College, Financial Planning WorkshopWed, Jan. 30, 2013
- How can I pay for college in the most efficient and effective manner?
- How can I avoid jeopardizing the retirement nest egg?
- How can I qualify for the Maximum Financial Aid Package?
- What techniques should I use to position my student?
Sponsored by Yorktown High School and the Arlington Family Network by a popular financial planner Brock T. Jolly, Capitol Financial Planning. Mr. Jolly has taught the workshop for the past ten years primarily through APS, Montgomery College and Parks and Recreation, Loudoun County Schools and 11 counties throughout Northern VA and MD.
The cost of a college education is higher than ever. This two-hour workshop will teach parents how to finance school without bankrupting retirement. You’ll discover strategies that may enable you to qualify for financial aid, sources for scholarships, and strategies for maximizing your wealth and minimizing your tax exposure, giving you greater cash flow for funding a college education. The workshop is geared toward parents but students are welcome to attend with their parents. Attendees will be provided handouts of a PowerPoint presentation. Please bring a pen or pencil.
While registration is not required, it is requested that anyone planning to attend try to email the PTA in advance for planning purposes only. Attendees can email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please reference this program name in the subject line: Little Known Secrets of Paying for College.
