PreK Child Find

The Arlington County PreK Child Find Program identifies children between the ages of 2-5 years who have educational disabilities.

Children with suspected delays in the areas of cognition, communication, hearing, vision, social-emotional skills, behavior concerns and/or motor skills, can be referred to the PreK Child Find office (child must be age 2 by September 30). Once a referral is received by the Child Find office a meeting will be scheduled with the family, child and PreK Child Find team members. This is an opportunity for our team to learn more about your child’s areas of strengths and weaknesses. Please contact the Arlington PreK Child Find office if you have concerns about your child’s development.
