FBI – Cyber STEM Certificate
FBI-Cyber STEM Pathway Program
The list below outlines the specific requirements needed to achieve the FBI-Cyber STEM Pathway Certificate:
The * indicates subject areas that are unique to the program
- Cyber – STEM Pathway CTE: Earn 5 FBI-Cyber STEM credits in one Pathway area or 5 Credits in any of the following pathways: Cyber Security, Computer Science, Business & Information Technology or Engineering, or the combination of any five cyber course credits from any of the above pathways.
- Mathematics: 4 Credits
- Laboratory Science: 4 Credits
- English: 4 Credits
- History & Social Sciences: 4 Credits
- Foreign Languages: 3 Credits
- Health & Physical Education: 2 Credits
- Economics and Personal Finance: 1 Credit
- Industry Credentialing Test*: 1 Pass
- Cyber Security Assessment/Camp/Competition*: 1 Challenge
- FBI Engagement Activities*: 2 Activities
Total: 27 credits + 1 Competition Challenge + 2 FBI Engagement Activities
Virtual FBI Cyber STEM courses are available with prior approval of the FBI Cyber STEM Program Manager to satisfy the FBI Cyber STEM Program requirements. However, the cyber virtual credits cannot be used to satisfy any of the Arlington Public Schools diploma graduation requirements.
