Google Apps: Create a Google File

You can create a new Google File from Google Drive, Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets.

To create a Google File from Drive:

1. Open Google Drive.
2. Tap on the rainbow plus sign at the bottom of the screen
3. Choose what type of file you would like to create
4. Give it a title – be specific!
   1. If you are working on a paper about Albert Einstein, include that in your document title. I would name mine, “About Einstein by Ms. E” or ElChehabi – About Einstein

To create a Google File from Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets

1. Open the app you want to work in
2. Tap on the rainbow plus sign at the bottom of the screen
3. Give it a title – be specific!
