APS technical staff typically update the student device operating systems (iOS, OSX) as part of our annual device maintenance. Due to COVID-19, APS may not be able to perform this function and you may be asked to assist. APS will contact you if you need to update the iOS on your child’s device.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap: General > Software Update > Download and Install.(Only available if there is an update. If you don’t see this, your iPad is up to date.)
- Your iPad screen will go black, then return to the lock screen when it is finished updating.
