Report Cards

APS issues report cards to families four times a year. In addition, families of students in grades 6-12 are provided with Interim Progress Reports (IPRs).

Report cards and IPRs are available in both the Report Cards and Documents areas of ParentVUE. More information about ParentVUE can be found on the Family Access Center page.

Mailing Report Cards

For the 2019-20 school year, APS will be mailing report cards home for Marking Periods 2 for schools with a traditional report card (listed below). Report cards are printed on the same day they are posted to ParentVUE. Families should expect to receive the printed report cards within 5 business days after they are posted. Alternative report cards (Standards-Based. Listed below) are designed to be viewed digitally. Families with students at schools with alternative report cards should contact their school if they need a printed copy.

NOTE: Traditional elementary report cards for the third quarter will not be printed and mailed home unless requested by a parent or guardian. This change is due to health and safety considerations and in effort to reduce staff exposure risk and time in our facilities while schools are closed due to COVID-19. We do understand that some families may not be able to access these reports electronically. Families should contact their child’s school if they need a printed copy mailed home.

High Schools with Traditional Report Cards:  All High Schools except for Arlington Community High School.

Middle Schools with Traditional Report Cards:  All Middle schools

Due to a printing error, middle school report cards mailed home showed an incorrect comment legend.  The comment legend explains columns headings A-G (located on the right side of the report card).  Report Cards posted to ParentVUE show the correct comment legend.   Corrected middle school comments for the 2019-2020 school year are below:
