While the administrative offices of APS have moved to the Sequoia office complex in south Arlington, the David M. Brown Planetarium continues operations here at our established location, 1426 N. Quincy Street.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE ONLY OPEN TO SCHOOL GROUPS IN THE DAYTIME DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR WORK WEEK.
The Friends provide programming that may include full dome programs and fascinating lectures from the field of Astronomy and other scientific fields designed to broaden our appeal to the planetarium-going public. These programs are held the 3rd weekend of the month during the school year and presented in lieu of the regular program schedule.

Most FOP programs will be held at the regularly scheduled weekend showtimes.
All proceeds go directly to support the planetarium programs and science education
in Arlington Public Schools.
In the event of bad weather, when school activities are canceled, the Planetarium will also be closed (call 703-228-4277). However, if the swimming pools are open, public planetarium shows will proceed as scheduled.
