As Planet Earth wheels its way around the sun, our nightly sky-viewing platform redirects our view to a different part of the celestial sphere. While nightly changes are not so noticeable, monthly changes welcome new star groups into view and bid farewell to others until their season in the sky returns. |

Join Planetarium Director, Jonathan Harmon, each month on the first Monday throughout the year from 7:30 to 9:00 PM to track those changes and chronicle the upcoming celestial events of the month. (Program held the 2nd Monday when a school holiday falls upon the 1st Monday). Following the program, weather permitting and interesting celestial objects cooperating, Jonathan will take a scope or two outside the planetarium to catch a “live” view for the audience. |
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN DUE TO THE LENGTH AND MOSTLY LECTURE CONTENT OF THE PROGRAM ON A SCHOOL NIGHT.
