Evaluation staff manage the following processes for APS:

Program Evaluations

Evaluation staff conducts summative evaluations of instructional programs and departments for the purpose of continuous improvement.  Details are outlined by “A Framework for Systematic Accountability and Evaluations, and in the School Board’s policy and procedures for Accountability and Evaluation (45-3)

Reviews of Applications to Conduct Research

Evaluation staff coordinates the review of applications to conduct research in APS, and provides technical assistance for internal research projects.

Surveys

Evaluation staff coordinates and reports on the biennial Community Satisfaction Survey and Site-based Survey, approves surveys administered within APS, and provides expertise on survey design, questionnaire development, administration, and reporting for surveys conducted within APS.
