APS Summer Activities Fair Scheduled for Feb. 15

APS Summer Activities Fair Scheduled for Feb. 15 The Arlington Public Schools Summer Activities Fair will be held on Fri, Feb. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, 3501 2nd Street, South. The event will provide Arlington residents with the opportunity to obtain information about activities that will be offered this summer by a variety of camps and other organizations. Representatives from over 100 different programs will be available to talk with parents about:

  • APS Summer School
  • Arlington County Parks and Recreation summer programs
  • Academic and art programs
  • Day camps
  • Sport camps
  • Overnight camps
  • Camps offering accommodations for children with special needs

A complete list of programs is available online. Teens looking for work and/or volunteer opportunities can obtain a listing of exhibitors offering opportunities at the information booth during the event. The event is co-sponsored by the Department of School and Community Relations, the APS Special Education Parent Resource Center and the Arlington County Council of PTAs. This event is free to the public and no pre-registration is required.
