Celebrating 2026 Summer High School Graduates

Arlington Public Schools congratulates the Class of Summer 2026!

APS will celebrate the achievements of the 2026 Summer High School Graduates during a commencement ceremony on Thursday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at Wakefield High School.

As the first-ever APS Summer High School Graduation Ceremony, this historic event is more than a celebration. It is a recognition that every student’s path to earning a diploma is unique and worthy of celebration.

For some graduates, the journey followed a traditional route. For others, it included unexpected challenges, new opportunities, or a different timeline. Every path reflects resilience, growth, determination, and the commitment to keep moving forward. Today, we honor not only the achievement of earning a high school diploma, but also the perseverance it took to reach this milestone.

The Summer Graduation Ceremony honors each graduate’s accomplishments and also recognizes the families, educators, and supporters who helped them reach this moment.
