Community Meeting on New Elementary School Boundary Set for Feb. 6

Community Meeting on New Elementary School Boundary Set for Feb. 6 As a continuation of the More Seats for More Students process, APS will hold another community meeting on Wed, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Williamsburg Middle School auditorium. At this meeting, APS will share feedback from the last community meeting on Jan. 23, and will provide a smaller set of boundary options as a result of the feedback. Community members and parents will have an opportunity to review and offer feedback on this smaller set of options during the meeting. This feedback will be used in developing a final set of options for the Superintendent to consider in making his recommendations to the School Board in late March. The outcomes of this boundary process are slated to go into effect in September 2015 for the 2015-16 school year. While paper copies of materials will be available, community members and parents are invited to bring a laptop or other electronic device for small group work.
