Green Scene Showcases Williamsburg Energy Projects This week’s Green Scene features sixth grade students at Willamsburg Middle School demonstrating their knowledge of energy and energy resources. Students engineered solar ovens and created energy-based board and computer games. They created scrapbooks, designed energy projects using experimental design and evaluated the major political party’s energy independence positions. Some students created U.S. maps of primary energy usage in the United States and then made recommendations about which renewable and inexhaustible sources would be good to use in order to decrease or replace fossil fuels.
