Summer Reading Challenge at the Arlington Public Library!

Summer Learning Featured Activity Week of July 13

Sign up for the Arlington Public Library Summer Reading Challenge and encourage your students to read, or be read to, for at least 30 minutes each day.

Important Dates

  • Summer Reading starts: June 1
  • Last day to register for Summer Reading: September 1
  • Last day to pick up prizes: September 2

How to Participate

  • Pick your tracking method:
  • Track each day you read between June 1 – Sept. 1. You can backdate your reading activity.
  • Read for any 30 days to complete the Summer Reading Challenge!
  • Claim your completion prizes at any Library location! Bring your reading log (digital or paper) with you.
  • Read an extra 30 days to become a Super Reader. Pick up another prize and earn an entry into our Super Reader Prize Drawings!

Arlington Central Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday-Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Students can also access digital books through APS Library Resources in Canvas.
