March School Board Meetings
In alignment with the students’ return to school, the Board will return to in-person regular School Board meetings starting March 11. To meet safely, the Board will comply with all health and safety guidelines. This includes limiting in-person attendance, always wearing masks, and maintaining 6-foot physical distancing, as well as using hand sanitizer and wipes to clean all surfaces. Work sessions and other meetings will continue to be held virtually until further notice. All Citizen Comment will be heard at the beginning of the Board meeting and the comment period is limited to one hour. The Board will offer speakers the option to call in or to sign up to speak in person. The Board will allow up to 15 in-person speakers and 15 call-in speakers. If fewer than 15 people sign up to speak in person, the Board will allow additional call-in speakers to fill any empty slots. A lottery process will continue to be used if more than 30 speaker requests are received. Please go to the Sign Up to Speak at a School Board Meeting page for directions. School Board meetings start at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. School Board meetings can be viewed live online or on Comcast Channel 70 or Verizon Channel 41.
