DEI Community Conversations
The Arlington Public Schools (APS) Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) developed the Equity Profile Dashboard (EPD) that was launched on June 10, 2022. The dashboard provides data and transparency related to student opportunity, access, and achievement. In addition, the dashboard supports APS’ commitment to use real-time data to identify and close various gaps to ensure resources are shared equitably based on student needs.
DEI will host multiple community conversations on the dashboard to receive feedback from the community on the next ite
ration of the dashboard. The conversations will include key takeaways about student demographics, student success, and college & career readiness. The conversations will also allow the community to provide feedback on the upcoming updates to the dashboard, which includes student well-being, school climate, and engaged workforce.
The community conversations will be held virtually on the following dates:
- Wednesday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. – Student Well-Being
- Wednesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. – Student Discipline
- Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. – Student Discipline
- Wednesday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. – Engaged Workforce
If interested in attending one of the community conversations, please register online.
