School Board Chair: Budget Drop-In Hours

Over the next several months, the School Board will be working closely with the Superintendent, APS staff, the Budget Advisory Council, and others to get ahead of a projected FY26 budget shortfall and develop a more sustainable budget going forward.

If you have a question, concern, or idea related to the APS budget, you’re welcome to drop in during the informal, budget-focused “office hours” with School Board member Mary Kadera this summer. No advance sign-up is needed; stop in during one of the times listed below:

  • Saturday, August 3, between 9-11 am at the Lyon Village Park (picnic area), 1800 N Highland St
  • Tuesday, August 6, between 6-8 pm at Westover Library, McKinley Room

If you have any questions, please contact the School Board Office at 703-228-6015 or [email protected]
