APS Celebrates Principals during Principal Appreciation Week, Jan. 8-14
Governor Ralph Northam has declared Jan. 8-14 Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week. Principals, as the instructional leaders of our schools, are critically important in ensuring that students learn and succeed. Our principals work diligently to help students and teachers excel, and Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week is an opportunity to recognize their leadership and hard work which are essential to the success of our schools. Their commitment to supporting students and families is evident in the work they do and the hours they put in. They ensure teachers and staff have the resources they need to succeed. Their leadership is vital to their schools and we rely on them now more than ever.
Join us as we recognize and thank our principals for all they do! Send them a message, work with your child on a card, or follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and use the hashtag #ThankAPSPrincipals and let us know why you love your Principal.
