Washington-Lee High School’s Chesapeake Bay Trip Featured on Green Scene This week’s episode of Green Scene highlights Washington-Lee High School’s recent field trip to learn about the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The trip, sponsored by a partnership with the Chesapeake Bay foundation, provides students an opportunity learn about the importance of the watershed and how to help protect the resource. While on the trip students sampled the water, learned about the wildlife and fish that are found in the rivers that make up the watershed and how pollution from run-off affects the habitat.
