VDOE Professional Learning & Development: The Professional Learning and Development portal connects educators, administrators and support services personnel to information about opportunities and resources developed by VDOE and non-profit organizations that provide professional learning opportunities for public school educators. Chesapeake Bay Foundation: A five-day professional learning adventure on the Chesapeake Bay or one of its tributaries in Summer 2019. CBF is offering more than 30 courses that will explore the mountains of Virginia, the rivers of Pennsylvania, the islands of the Bay, and many places in between. Learn how to integrate the environment into your classroom and to help your students achieve environmental literacy success.

igKnight Summer Sandbox: The igKnight Summer Sandbox is a two-day “unconference” for educators of all ages, all subjects, and all schools— to learn about and share best practices in innovative teaching. Teachers from all over the greater Washington, D.C. area (and beyond) are warmly invited to join us at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia as we connect, collaborate, and brainstorm together for a game-changing approach to PD.
