ASEAC meets monthly from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Syphax Education Center, 2110 Washington Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22204. We invite all interested citizens to participate in our monthly meetings. All ASEAC meetings are public meetings and anyone can attend and participate. A Spanish Interpreter is also available at all ASEAC meetings. If you wish to receive email notification of our meeting dates and agendas, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and request to join the email list.
If you would like to provide public comments in person at the ASEAC meeting, a sign-up sheet will be provided at 6:45 p.m. prior to the start of the meeting. Public comments will be heard in the order that they appear on the sign-up sheet. We kindly ask that you please sign up prior to the start of the meeting, as the public comment period is the first item on the agenda starting at 7:00 pm. Oral public comments are limited to three minutes each. As indicated on the agenda, the public comment portion will end at 7:15 pm. If anyone is not able to speak in the time allotted for public comments they will have an opportunity to provide public comments after the agenda is concluded and will be able to submit written comments which will be included in the minutes. After a public comment is submitted, ASEAC requests a response from APS staff by the next meeting.
If you have a question or comment regarding an individual student, due to meeting time constraints, these discussions should take place outside of the 7:00-9:00 pm meeting hours. Any questions or comments about a specific student situation can be emailed to the ASEAC.email@example.com address or any ASEAC Committee Member (contact information is listed with the Committee Membership listing on this webpage), or discussed in person at monthly meetings before or after the 7-9 official meeting hours.
