The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is staffed by Kathleen Donovan, Kelly Mountain, and Emma Parral.
Kathleen Donovan is a special educator who has enjoyed a wonderful career with APS. She is the parent of two young adults – a son and a daughter. Prior to her current position at the PRC, Kathleen’s roles within APS have included special education teacher, kindergarten integration coordinator, and Child Find Coordinator. Kathleen holds an undergraduate degree in English Education and a graduate degree in Special Education from the State University of New York at Albany.
Kelly Mountain has been with APS for almost 20 years. Prior to joining the PRC team in the fall of 2017, Kelly’s roles have included serving as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist in numerous APS schools, a Student Services Specialist, a Section 504 Coordinator, and, most recently, as Supervisor of School Psychology and Social Work. Kelly and her husband are parents of four adult children, and she received her graduate training in School Psychology and Education Leadership from George Mason University.
Emma Parral is our bilingual administrative assistant, and has four children, including three APS graduates. Her son’s classes at the Career Center supported his current success as an auto technician, and two of Emma’s daughters are in college. Her youngest daughter attends elementary school in APS.
