Courses

Virtual@APS is different from our K-12 Virtual Learning Program during the 2021-22 school year. Please visit the VLP site for more information on that program.

students on computersAll students requesting an online course must do so through their school counselor.  Requests for online courses are processed through the Department of Teaching and Learning by the Office of Secondary Education and approved after a review of the student’s unique learning needs and requirements for graduation.  High school credits toward graduation are awarded after successful completion of the previously approved online course as verified through an official transcript. Students and their families are responsible for delivering the official transcript to the student’s school counselor.

School counselors and students should review the course prerequisites listed on the APS Program of Studies an make sure students understand the expectations for the online course selected.
