How to Participate:
Organizations who adopt a school agree to support their adopted school for the duration of the school year. During the year, the organization must sponsor/organize/participate in at least one activity in each of the categories below. Projects may span more than one category.
Choosing a School
A list of all schools is provided below. Organizations may choose any school or schools, and may wish to consider factors such as proximity to the business, personal/alumni connection, etc.

Community Engagement
Example: Community engagement through Adopt a School builds meaningful partnerships between schools events, sponsoring initiatives, organizing community events, fostering volunteers and partnerships.
School Support
Example: School support provides classroom supplies, books, instructional resources, event sponsorships, and technical support to enhance learning environments and student experiences.
Staff Appreciation
Example: Staff appreciation supports and recognizes APS staff through breakfast or lunch events, providing staff resources, offering employee benefits or discounts, and celebrating their contributions within the community.
School Beautification
Example: School beautification provides resources or services such as painting or landscaping, sponsoring projects like garden improvements or campus clean-ups, and organizing fund drives to support new equipment or enhancements.
