Store Bonus Cards & Online Donation Sites
Giant’s A+ School Rewards program gives you points every time you use the A+ School Rewards card. At the end of each month, these points determine your school’s cash total which is automatically credited to the school’s account. (Please note: Gift cards (excluding store brand gift cards), pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)
With Harris Teeter’s Together in Education (TIE) program, when you purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using your VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of your choice.
Through Target’s Take Charge of Education program, Target will donate 1% of purchases made with the Target REDcard to the school of your choice.
To start, apply and get approved for a REDcard, and then enroll in Take Charge of Education.
We’ll track purchases made by participating REDcard holders, then send a no-strings-attached donation check directly to the school principal.
Checks are distributed once a year. If the total of accumulated donations is less than $25, the amount carries over to the next payment period. You can track your school’s progress at Target.com/tcoe.

Adopt-A-Classroom invites the community into the classroom in support of teachers and their students. By adopting a classroom, donors form partnerships with specific classrooms providing financial and moral support. The result is a meaningful contribution to education in which donors experience the impact of their efforts and celebrate in a classroom’s success.
DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need.
Here’s how it works: public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on DonorsChoose.org. Requests range from pencils for a poetry writing unit, to violins for a school recital, to microscope slides for a biology class.
Then, you can browse project requests and give any amount to the one that inspires you. Once a project reaches its funding goal, we deliver the materials to the school.
