- Day 1 – October 28: Emergency Preparedness Week Kickoff & Testing the APS Critical Notification Systems
- Read the Superintendent’s message on ParentSquare
- Test of APS Alert for APS Staff only, mass notification to all staff and public safety radio checks.
Day 2 – October 29: Emergency Preparedness Week Video & Integrating Students with Disabilities into School Emergency Planning
- Shared resources and offer training to staff on integrating students with disabilities into school emergency planning.
- 7pm, join us in person or virtually during the APS Board meeting for the launch of a new emergency preparedness video created by the talented Gunston Middle School.
Day 3 – October 30: Gun Safety & Suicide Awareness, Lock and Talk
- Read the Superintendent’s Message on Gun Safety.
