Individual Education Plans

SPED CycleThe Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a written document designed to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities. IEPs are written by IEP teams, which are typically composed of: Parents/Guardians, Principal/Assistant Principal/School Administrator or designee, Classroom Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Related Service Providers, students, if appropriate, and/or others invited by the school and/or family.

The IEP is a very important document for students with disabilities and for those who are involved in educating them. The IEP should provide information specific to the student and improve teaching, learning and results.
