Calendar Update: Changes to Elementary Parent-Teacher Conference Days
Elementary students will have a full instructional day on Wednesday, an early-release day on Thursday and no school on Friday during each conference period.

APS celebrated a new chapter for Arlington Community High School (ACHS) on Friday, Aug. 28, with the official opening of the school’s new permanent home at Amazon’s HQ2 in National Landing.
Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program for 2026-27
Arlington Public Schools (APS) is providing free and reduced-price meals to eligible students through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
APS Students Show Continued Progress on 2025-26 SOL Assessments
APS students demonstrated continued academic progress, with pass rates improving in four of the five subject areas and APS continuing to outperform the Virginia average in all five.
