Interpretation
APS provides spoken and ASL interpreting services for families, students, and staff. These services are customarily provided during the following events:
- Parent-teacher conferences
- Special education conferences
- School meetings
- Other school functions such as Kindergarten, Middle School and High School Information Nights
ASL / CLT Interpretation Requests
ASL and CLT interpretation services are provided for staff and students on an as-needed basis.
Parents or family members who require ASL interpreting services should make requests through their students’ school sites/offices.
Translation
Arlington Public Schools provides written language translation services for families who speak a language other than English on an as-needed basis.
