Arlington C2E2 Energy Committee

The Energy Committee is a subcommittee of the Climate Change, Energy and Environment Commission (C2E2). The Energy Committee advises the County Manager on Community Energy Plan implementation. The Community Energy Plan is a long-term vision for transforming how Arlington generates, uses, and distributes energy, with an overall goal of carbon neutral by 2050.

The Energy Committee will be typically meeting in-person (hybrid) and occasionally virtually (login and call-in information provided below) up to three (x3) times per calendar year. Please visit the county page below for meeting updates and changes and refer to an upcoming meeting’s agenda for the latest information on meeting time and date. The committee sets aside the first few minutes of each meeting for general public comment and encourages residents to provide comments on the community’s energy issues and opportunities. Note: individuals may speak for three minutes; those representing an organization may speak for five minutes.
