Earlier this month the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) named Tony Frazier, Aviation Technology and Drones Technology instructor at the Arlington Career Center (ACC), the 2025 Virginia Teacher of the Year. The AFA Teacher of the Year program honors K–12 educators who excel in STEM instruction and inspire future leaders in air and space. The award highlights teachers who go beyond classroom instruction by fostering student achievement, leadership skills and aerospace career interest.
The program emphasizes community engagement, connecting students with industry and service opportunities.
Mr. Frazier leads one of APS’s most sought-after Career & Technical Education pathways, maintaining a 90% FAA exam pass rate while preparing students for aviation careers, service academies and scholarships. Congratulations, Mr. Frazier!
