Starting during the 2025-2026 school year, APS will cover the cost of up to three AP exams per student, per year, for students enrolled in the corresponding AP courses.
Students who take more than three AP courses and wish to take additional exams will be responsible for the cost of those exams, including any late or unused exam fees.

Yes! We strongly encourage students to take the exam(s). AP exams offer the opportunity to:
– Demonstrate mastery of college-level material
– Earn potential college credit
– Strengthen college applications
The 2026 AP Exams will take place in May over two weeks:
May 4–8 and May 11–15
AP coordinators will communicate specific times and locations for the exams.
