Virtual Course Options

Arlington Public Schools provides students with the opportunity to take a limited number of courses through a virtual platform with prior approval.  APS virtual courses, whether locally produced or offered by an approved third-party vendor, are taught by highly qualified educators with expertise in virtual instruction.

Certain students who are unable to attend school for medical reasons are eligible to be full-time virtual students. To apply for this, a family would have to go through the Administrative Placement Process. Students who are homebound for a limited time due to medical reasons may qualify for Homebound Instruction.
