Heritage Month Celebrations

APS celebrates the incredible variety of traditions and customs across our community.

Throughout the year, federally recognized “Heritage Months” celebrate the customs and traditions of various global cultures. APS promotes equity and inclusion, and celebrates the diversity of our community, by recognizing each of these months. Starting with the 2025-26 school year, for each of the Heritage Months listed below, we will recognize the celebration with a community-wide message, and produce a video compiling reflections on culture and heritage from students, families and staff. The videos will be shared at the first School Board meeting in the respective heritage month.

We need your help to celebrate our diversity and cultural richness!

Each of the links below goes to a Dropbox.

We ask the APS community to share with us short videos which highlight your cultural traditions and heritage. These could be stories, music, art, personal reflections – anything that helps share a little of what your culture means to you!

Please upload your videos into the appropriate dropbox linked below.
