This month, we are proud to recognize five outstanding members of our APS community who go above and beyond each day to support students, families and colleagues. Our September 2025 honorees embody excellence, inclusivity and dedication in all that they do.
At Swanson, Ms. Laura Partridge has been serving students, staff and families for 27 years as a math coach and educator. She is known for her deep knowledge of middle school math, guiding teachers in their professional learning and mentoring families through new standards and placements.
At Arlington Traditional, Ms. Inga Schoenbrun ensures students with diverse needs feel welcomed and valued. From summer read-alongs to connecting families with staff, her enthusiasm and devotion make a lasting impact.
At Long Branch, Ms. Amanda Zolan is known as a miracle-worker and child whisperer. As both a parent and staff member, she models patience, joy and positivity, ensuring every student has a fresh start each day.
At the Trades Center, Doug Martin exemplifies responsiveness and practical problem-solving. His commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality school facilities shows his dedication to students and staff alike.
Also at the Trades Center, Luis Mejia stands out for his world-class customer service as a bus driver. He knows each student by name, communicates with families and ensures students start and end their days with kindness.
