Hoffman-Boston FACE Team Brings Families Together for Fun and Engagement
The Hoffman-Boston Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Team hosted two engaging events to strengthen relationships with students’ families.
PreK-2nd grade families enjoyed a Family Playdate, while third through fifth grade families joined the PTA in several events. Families partnered with local businesses to provide food for sale during the events, and the FACE team organized a variety of fun and interactive activities for families to enjoy together. English Language educator Kirsten Fitzgerald returned to the events with her free book station, offering students the opportunity to take home books.
Both events emphasized building stronger connections between families, students and the school community during November, known as Family and Community Engagement Month.
